Through strategic timing and proactive planning, the District successfully secured $4,496,635 in final net debt service savings for our local taxpayers.

What This Means for Property Owners

  • Direct Savings: The final net savings fell comfortably within the original projection range ($3.97M–$5.28M). Every dollar saved directly reduces property tax obligations for District property owners over the remaining life of the bonds.

  • Lower Tax Rates: Property owners will see annual tax rate savings ranging from $0.01 to $0.83 per $100,000 of Assessed Valuation (AV) across fiscal years 2027 through 2040.

  • No General Fund Impact: These savings go directly back to our taxpayers. The refinancing has no impact on the District’s General Fund or operating budget.
