Dear Nimitz Families,

I hope this message finds you well and filled with anticipation for the start of another exciting school year at Nimitz Elementary. I wanted to take a moment to warmly welcome each of you to our school community.

My commitment to Nimitz Elementary runs deep. Each day, I am fervently focused on serving as an "equity equalizer", working to ensure that every student, regardless of their background or circumstances, has equal access to opportunities and support. My dedication is not only to achieving academic excellence but also in creating an environment where every child feels valued, heard, and empowered. 

With over 25 years of experience as both a parent and an educator, I intimately understand the multifaceted needs and challenges that our students and families face during these pivotal elementary years.

The smiles, inquisitiveness, and determination of our students infuse my day with purpose and joy every single time I set foot onto Nimitz. As we embark on this new academic journey, I want each of you to know that my door is always open. I am eager to listen, support, and collaborate with all families to nurture a school community rooted in equity, respect, and mutual understanding.
