Principal Message

It is with great honor and excitement to become part of the Nimitz Community as your new principal! The Nimitz Community has many strengths. From being a school community that is positive and collaborative to lifting each other up by celebrating each others’ successes. A community that is strong, supportive, and who values and embraces diversity. A community that has excellent staff who are passionate and supportive of our students, both in and out of the classroom, throughout the entire school day.

To continue to build upon the wonderful strengths of Nimitz, as your new principal, accessibility, transparency, and community will be key. I look forward to welcoming students and families in the mornings and seeing the smiling faces of our Nimitz Dolphins. As I launch into my role, I will be taking as many opportunities as I can to get to know the community and learn from everyone. With a growth mindset, we should continue to reflect on our practices and build upon our strengths to better support the needs of our students.

I know that with our school expectations of Dolphins being Safe, Responsible and Respectful, we will have a wonderful school year!
