Mission

The mission of Nimitz Elementary School is to educate the whole child by fostering literacy, a solid foundation in mathematics, and effective problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. We aim to ignite curiosity and joy in learning through enriching experiences that cultivate a sense of belonging. By promoting mutual respect for our rich diversity and supporting the social and emotional growth of our students, we create a nurturing environment. Our students embody our Nimitz PBIS core values of being safe, responsible, and respectful. We believe that active parent partnerships help create a wonderful collaborative community, enriching the educational experience for all. Together, we prepare our students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, becoming compassionate and engaged members of the Nimitz school community.
