PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach used to improve school safety and promote positive behavior. PBIS focuses on teaching students expected behaviors and providing the support needed to achieve these expectations. By reinforcing good behavior and addressing challenges in a constructive manner, PBIS helps create a positive school culture where all students can thrive.

Our PBIS mission at Nimitz Elementary School is to ensure the success of every student. The Nimitz staff is dedicated to collaborating with students, parents, and each other to create a school environment where every student:
